Everett, Wash. — Mar. 19, 2025 — BLR Aerospace LLC, announced that MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH (Atting, Germany) has received STC approval from the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for the 7-blade Whisper Prop® system installed on the King Air 300 series aircraft, following a successful development program.
BLR is the worldwide distributor for MT-Propellers on the King Air and Beech 1900 platforms.
The new 7-blade Whisper Prop® is the quietest propeller available for the King Air 300 series. The design is built on the proven Natural Composite technology of the MT 5-blade propellers for the King Air platform. Each blade has a highly developed structural resin-infused wood core wrapped in carbon-fiberglass composite skins. The propeller is engineered for unparalleled quietness, durability, and efficiency.
"After years of commercial success with the 5-blade Whisper Props® we are proud to have the opportunity to present our customers with the additional option of the extremely quiet 7-blade Whisper Prop®," said Clay Bringhurst, president of BLR Aerospace.
The propeller stands out with its optimized seven-blade design, significantly reducing noise levels and minimizing vibration. The result is the quietest and smoothest experience for King Air 300 series operators and passengers alike.
